Water Sector LTP (formerly Froddy's Water Sector) is an independent research and analysis platform. We are not associated with, and do not accept sponsorship from, banks, brokerage firms, investment advisers, or public companies that operate in the sector that we cover.
Water Sector LTP covers eight stocks in the water research and technology sector: non-utility companies that focus on water measurement, storage, treatment, remediation, equipment, and infrastructure. See a list of those stocks here. We may add other stocks, including private utilities, in the future.

Our approach to stock analysis is light on technical analysis (momentum), respectful of value, and heavy on strategic planning: How does the company plan to exploit opportunities related to trends, breakthroughs, and disruptions in technology, demographics, the climate, regulations, and competition? In a word, we are macro-fundamentalists.

LTP stands for long-term perspective.
Water Sector LTP was founded in 2025 by David M. Freedman, a financial and legal journalist since 1978. Freedman is former editor of The Value Examiner, a magazine published by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
