Dave Freedman has worked as a journalist since 1978, primarily in the fields of finance and law. He has served on the editorial staffs of magazines, newsletters, and online media.
Over the past 10 years Dave has reported extensively on private securities, especially angel investing (Reg D) and equity crowdfunding (Reg A+ and Reg CF).
He has also written about home improvement and woodworking for such magazines as Better Homes and Gardens, Fine Woodworking, and Woodcraft.

He coauthored (with Matt Nutting) Equity Crowdfunding for Investors: A Guide to Risks, Returns, Regulations, Funding Portals, Due Diligence, and Deal Terms (Wiley & Sons, NY, 2015).
He coauthored (with David Fleisher) Death of an American (Continuum, NY, 1983). Based on the $100 million Singer vs. Wadman civil rights lawsuit filed in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1979. See Kirkus review.
